Kinesiotherapy

Guided therapeutic exercise to rebuild strength, mobility and function: the core of lasting recovery.

Kinesiotherapy is therapeutic movement, planned and supervised by your physiotherapist. It is the backbone of the centre: hands-on assessment first, then a programme built around your body, your history and your goal.

Sessions progress with you, from gentle passive and assisted movement early on, through active and resisted exercise, to balance, coordination and return-to-activity work. It is delivered with the centre's exercise and conditioning equipment, including a treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical trainer, a rehabilitation pulley system, an upper-limb rehabilitation unit, Swedish wall bars, resistance bands, dumbbells and stability balls.

Commonly used to help with

  • Rebuilding strength after injury or surgery
  • Restoring joint range of motion
  • Posture, balance and coordination
  • Returning to sport, work or daily life
